A Shade Colder is a platform for discussions about and around art in Estonia and beyond.
We are looking to draw connections between art in Estonia and elsewhere in the world – in doing this, we highlight shared stories, provide deeper analysis and also capture more short-lived occurrences. A Shade Colder strives to be a useful tool for working within and introducing this part of Europe internationally.
For the most part, A Shade Colder is published online, accompanied by one print issue per year. Our thematic issues are published following the seasonal logic of the Estonian and international art calendar.
